Graphic Design company in ........... seeking experienced Graphic Designer to assist in production with monthly publication designing as-needed. Position has potential of a renewable contract after 60-days. Position is off-site (work from your own location - but MUST be available as needed due to strict print deadlines - evenings & weekends are expected) Applicants MUST have the following or need not apply:
- MAC Experience (must use your own computer)
- QuarkXPress (7.3 or higher) - must have experience creating publication layouts
- Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 or higher
- Photoshop & Illustrator - must have experience
TASKS INCLUDE:
- Data-entry into AMS system
- Creating Ads in AMS system
- Exporting elements from AMS system
- Creating design/layout in QuarkXpress
- Creating/editing logos and other Ad elements in Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- MUST have a 24-hour turn-around on all Ads in the publications we assign you.
This position pays per project. We design for a total of 20+ publications throughout the United States. Potential growth in the company is based on how big of a workload you can handle.
